Rabbi, priest and imam pray together for rain on Kinnere. On Monday Didi was again praying for rain - but this time, he was not alone. He was joined by Ian Clark, the priest of the Scottish church, and Muhammad Dahamshe, the Imam of Kafr Kana.
“A joint prayer does not consider differences of religion,” says Didi. “There is one god, we are all human beings and are all praying to the same god.”
So I’m not sure if this was ment to be serious prayer for rain or a marketing campaign. One never knows …
But for anyone who’s interested: I can make it rain. I have developed a special technique which never fails to make it rain. I’m a rainmaker so to say, and I would love to try this out in a region that’s dying for rain, so to say. So if anyone is willing to pay for the trip and expenses, I’m looking forward to offer this service.
