i don’t know …. i study chinese since almost 4 months, every day, and I cannot understand even the most simple, most stupid sentences, like the lady at the laundry shop, asking for my address, just for example.

if an idiot goes to italy and studies italien for 5 weeks, every day, he can have a conversation in italian and understand quite a lot.

but me, for chinese … i mean look at those characters … 14 strokes, 7 strokes, it’s a pain in the ass to memorize …

i think there’s something wrong with the books. highly inefficient. there must be something wrong with the books.

Im wesentlichen ein Entschuldigungsschreiben, weil ich am Mittwoch 50km zur Embassy muss und meinen Pass abholen, und deshalb nicht in die Schule äh Uni kommen kann.

ok, der war nicht von mir, aber hier jetzt echt meine Fragen:

1. Können Möwen zwitschern, trällern oder gar singen?

2. Falls mal jemand jemals eine Datenbank für einen Fischladen braucht oder so ähnlich, wie würde dann das model heissen?

Heute spazierte ich dann beim McDonalds vorbei, und hatte noch mehr Fragen:

1. Werden Leute, die bei McDonalds essen schiach, oder gehen nur schiache Leute zu McDonalds essen?

after about 10 hours I got rails 2.3.2, attachment_fu, authlogic (=innocent), jquery with swfupload to work. beautiful now. but a lot of work, compared with the 2 hours prototype solution.

one thing which bothers me now is: I have about 30 instances of the swfupload-object now on one page, which considerably slows. It takes 21seconds to load and everything is kinda slow. Just to warn you.

The next couple of days *sigh* I gonna make a load-on-demand for each of the 30 or so instances.
